Responsibility for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close under IFRS for designated legal entities
Ensuring timely and high-quality group reporting
Managing and overseeing end-to-end accounting processes in close collaboration with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger teams
Analysing, clarifying and resolving issues arising during the financial close process
Preparing, reviewing and approving journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing and presenting balance sheet reviews to internal stakeholders
Responsibility for the preparation of statutory financial statements and the coordination of annual and group audits
Ensure proper maintenance of statutory ledgers under Local GAAP;
Prepare and review tax-related calculations, fiscal books and filings, as a referent point of contact with fiscal consultants;
Ensure proper control and monitoring of intercompany transactions in line with Transfer Pricing policies;
Acting as the key point of contact for external auditors, regulatory authorities and internal business functions
Ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulations
Driving the continuous improvement of processes, internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Contributing to and leading projects focused on standardisation, automation and ERP transformation
Providing functional and disciplinary leadership to a small Key Accounting team in charge of all the italian legal entities of the Group, including coaching and developing team members
What you need to succeed
