An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading international engineering services contractor delivering major, technically challenging construction projects in Milan, Italy.

The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee all site-based mechanical installation activities, from project mobilisation through to commissioning and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate mechanical installation teams, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Develop and manage short-term work plans,
coordinating activities with other trades to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, manpower and overall site performance.
- Review construction drawings, specifications and method statements to ensure installations meet project requirements.
- Coordinate material procurement, equipment deliveries, storage and site resource planning.
- Ensure mechanical installations comply with quality standards, inspection and test plans, and project specifications.
- Carry out site inspections, manage snagging and maintain accurate site documentation and marked-up drawings.
- Promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture, ensuring compliance with RAMS, permit systems and safe working practices.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, site inspections and regular safety audits.
- Coordinate with electrical, CSA and other trade supervisors to ensure effective multidisciplinary working.
