This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Architect based in Italy. As a Solutions Architect, you will shape the technical direction of client projects and internal products while combining deep engineering expertise with strong business judgment. You will design scalable, cloud-native architectures and help determine the right technologies, priorities, and delivery strategies.
The role is highly hands‐on, with opportunities to prototype, review code, and solve complex technical challenges. You will also contribute to product roadmaps, pre‐sales discussions, project scoping, and strategic technology decisions. Working closely with clients, executives, tech leads, and senior engineers, you will translate business objectives into practical technical solutions. This is a fully remote role suited to an experienced technical leader who is comfortable operating across engineering, product, and business environments.
Accountabilities Share ownership of technical strategy,
architectural standards, engineering priorities, and technology direction. Own technical and product roadmaps for internal products, prioritizing initiatives according to user needs and business value. Bring a product-focused approach to client projects by challenging requirements, identifying better solutions, and prioritizing work that delivers meaningful business outcomes. Design solution architectures for new client projects and internal products from discovery through delivery.
Participate in sales and pre-sales discussions, helping scope projects, estimate effort, and translate business goals into actionable technical plans. Review and challenge architectural decisions across engineering teams and provide hands‐on support for critical or high‐risk technical problems. Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, technology choices, and AI adoption based on cost, risk, scalability, and expected return on investme
