Cut real work with Spirit, every day, and tell us where it gets in the way. You are the first user and the loudest one.
What you'd do
Edit the pieces we produce - teasers, showcase films, client work - using the platform for all of it.
Push the generation tools into the corners: what holds, what drifts, what is not worth the credits.
Write down what you find, plainly, and see it change the product.
Sit with studios during onboarding and show them how someone who knows the craft actually works in it.
Why it's hard
You will be editing on a tool that is still being built, which means part of the week is friction you have to describe precisely instead of just working around. Precision about your own annoyance is a skill, and it is the one we need most.
What it isn't
Not a QA seat with a checklist. Not a role where you only test - you deliver real cuts on real deadlines.
Who tends to fit
You have cut work that shipped, and you can talk about why a cut works.
You are at home in Resolve or Premiere and unbothered by learning something new.
You have opinions about AI-generated footage - for or against, as long as they come from having used it.
