The role International School of Milan is seeking a Cover Teacher for Primary to cover a two-month period starting late August 2026. The position also requires recurring availability to provide short, occasional cover when needed. Immediate availability is an advantage. Cover requests may be for a single day or brief periods across the academic year. Key responsibilities Support class teachers in delivering engaging,
inclusive and child-centred learning experiences.
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and support progress.
Help create and maintain a stimulating, well-organised and inclusive classroom environment.
Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and social development using supportive approaches.
Assist in observing, recording and sharing student progress with teaching staff.
Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
Supervise pupils during break times, lunch, school trips and events.
Assist with preparation of learning materials, classroom displays and resources.
Contribute to classroom routines, transitions and day-to-day organisation.
Uphold safeguarding, behaviour and child protection policies at all times.
Requirements Relevant experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
Strong understanding of
