TMC Italia is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a high-tech project. The resource will contribute to the development and evolution of applications for data analysis and management.

About this vacancy
The resource will become part of a technical team involved in the development and maintenance of software applications dedicated to processing and analyzing complex data.
Specifically, they will be responsible for:
- Analyzing, verifying, and correcting implementation requirements
- Developing and maintaining Java applications, working on both the algorithmic component and the frontend created in Swing
- Collaborating on the analysis and processing of technical data, with a particular focus on parameters and complex datasets
- Managing interaction with relational databases, performing query development and optimization activities
- Participating in code versioning and management activities via Git
- Supporting the porting of algorithms and functionality from Matlab to Java, ensuring the correct translation of application logic
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for the integration and continuous improvement of software solutions
What we expect from you
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience in software development in Java
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and algorithm development
- Experience in developing graphical interfaces using Java Swing
- Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle and MySQL
- Experience using Git for code versioning
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
- Experience or basic knowledge of Matlab for porting activities to Java
- Problem-solving attitude, analytical skills, and team-working predisposition
- Italian C2 and English B2
What you can expect from us
The position entails a permanent contract, and the offered gross annual salary (RAL) base will not be less than €30,000, in accordance with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.
TMC is committed to proposing a competitive compensation package and, at the end of the selection process, evaluating the experiences, skills, and qualifications of the candidate, may propose a final RAL exceeding the level mentioned above.
In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a component of direct participation in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget of €4,000 net per year for skill development, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection phase, in compliance with current company policies.
