h3Job title: Mechanical Construction Manager - Data Centre Construction /h3 h3Location: Milan, Italy /h3 h3Company: International Data Centre Contractor /h3 h3Package: Up to €120,000 package /h3 h3The Company /h3 pThis international contractor specialises in the delivery of large scale data centre and mission critical projects across Europe, managing projects from construction through commissioning and final handover. /p pWith a strong pipeline of European work, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join the project team on a major multi-building data centre campus in Milan. /p h3The Role: Mechanical Construction Manager /h3 pAs Mechanical Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical construction works on site, including HVAC, piping and associated building services. /p pYou will manage mechanical subcontractors, coordinate closely with the Project Manager, planners, design and commercial teams, and ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. /p h3Must Have Requirements /h3 ul liMust have 8+ years’ experience within mechanical construction or building services /li liProven experience required managing mechanical packages on large scale construction projects /li liStrong hands on experience required with HVAC, piping and associated mechanical systems /li liMechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar qualification required /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liData centre or mission critical project experience preferred /li liIndustrial or large scale ME construction experience beneficial /li liExperience managing mechanical works through installation,



snagging and handover /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage day to day mechanical construction activities on site /li liCoordinate mechanical subcontractors, manpower and programme delivery /li liReview drawings, specifications, technical submittals and construction information /li liMaintain mechanical QA/QC standards across installation worksCoordinate with planning, design, engineering and commercial teams /li liAttend site, planning, engineering and handover meetings /li liTrack progress and report programme issues to senior management /li liSupport variation tracking and commercial reporting /li liManage mechanical snagging and close out activities /li liIdentify and resolve technical and coordination issues before they affect programme /li liMaintain strong health and safety standards across all mechanical works /li /ul h3About You /h3 pYou will be an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager with a strong background delivering major mechanical packages on large construction projects. /p pYou should be confident managing subcontractors, coordinating mechanical services with the wider construction programme and resolving technical issues on site.
