h3Overview /h3pmedical strategy lead oncology (home based) provides strategic medical and scientific expertise to iqvia in the hematology oncology therapeutic area. /ph3Essential functions /h3pessential functionswork independently under supervision of the hematology oncology center of excellence head. /ppprovide scientific and clinical advice to internal stakeholders and develop proposals, including protocol design and clinical development plans. /ppanalyze mechanisms of action, mine data, assess patient recruitment, standards of care and competitive landscape. /ppmaintain awareness of latest literature in hematology and oncology. /ppparticipate in client meetings, proposal discussions, bid defense, post-award transition and governance meetings. /ppcoach and prepare project teams to align execution strategy with medical considerations. /ppcollaborate with business development, operations, commercial consulting services, real-world services and other medical strategy leads.
/ppact as internal and external consultant throughout the research and development lifecycle and clinical trials. /ph3Qualifications /h3pmd oncologist with training in hematology (solid-tumor experience a plus). /pp5-7 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in the biopharmaceutical industry. /ppproven ability to lead and manage research and development projects. /ph3Professional skills /h3ulliexcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; fluent english (written and spoken). /liliinnovative, strategic thinker with strong business acumen and negotiation skills. /liliability to work in undefined specifications and collaborate across therapeutic areas. /liliproficient with technology applications, databases and internet research. /lilidecision-making capability with limited information. /lilieffective mentoring and training skills. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
