We are looking for a curious, proactive person eager to challenge themselves in an international and dynamic environment. Joining Hilti as an intern means experiencing much more than a simple internship: it’s a structured six‑month program that will allow you to discover our culture, develop concrete skills, and contribute to real projects within the General Ledger team.
What You'll do
Join our international Shared Service Center and start your career at the intersection of Finance, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence.
As a General Ledger Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in accounting processes while working in a highly collaborative and multicultural environment that supports multiple countries across the globe.
You will learn how modern finance organizations operate by contributing to key activities such as:
- Month-End and Year-End Closing (MEC/YEC)
- Fixed Assets accounting
- Intercompany transactions
- Tax and statutory accounting processes
- General Ledger Master Data management
- Balance Sheet and P&L; reconciliation and analysis
Beyond traditional accounting, you will have the opportunity to experience how technology is transforming Finance. Our Shared Service Center is actively investing in automation, analytics, workflow digitalization and AI-powered solutions that help improve efficiency, compliance and decision-making across global finance processes.
You will work alongside experienced finance professionals,
gaining exposure to international projects and innovative tools that are shaping the future of Finance Operations.
As your confidence grows, you will support the review of balance sheet positions, accruals, prepayments, and provisions, helping ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.
You will also collaborate with Finance Business Partners, learning how accounting insights support business decisions and contribute to creating value for the organization.

- You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in business, Finance or similar or equivalent finance qualification
- You’re fluent in Italian and have a good command of English, ready to connect in an international context.
- You’re confident with Microsoft Office tools
