Executive Chef Borgo January 2027
We are seeking a talented, innovative, and highly operational Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of Borgo. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a passion for authentic gastronomy, and the ability to elevate the culinary identity of the resort while ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
This role will be instrumental in building a stronger culinary offering, creating memorable dining experiences, enhancing the resort's food reputation, and developing a high-performing kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the culinary strategy for all Borgo dining outlets.
- Build a stronger culinary identity that reflects the destination while incorporating international standards and innovation.
- Design and continuously enhance menus, concepts, and guest dining experiences.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency.
- Manage food cost, labor cost, budgeting,
purchasing, and inventory control.
- Collaborate closely with F&B; leadership to drive guest satisfaction and revenue performance.
- Develop signature culinary events, themed experiences, and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
- Support talent recruitment and succession planning within the culinary team.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as Executive Chef in luxury resorts, five-star hotels, or high-end restaurant operations.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in elevating culinary concepts and food quality standards.
- Passion for local products, sustainability, and authentic guest experiences.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing food and labor costs.
- Creativity combined with operational discipline.
- Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.
- International hospitality experience preferred.
