Johnson & Johnson seeks a Medical Affairs Manager for its Surgery division in Italy to serve as the local scientific expert. The role involves developing and executing medical strategy, building relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, and ensuring evidence-based engagement across the Wound Closure and Biosurgery portfolio.
Responsibilities
Implement business unit medical strategy through local field tactics and stakeholder collaboration
Serve as primary scientific resource to healthcare professionals and organizations on portfolio medical value
Establish peer-to-peer relationships with local healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders
Conceive and lead advisory boards and expert meetings to support product development

Review and approve medical materials for scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance
Requirements
MD degree with specialty qualification, preferably in surgery
2-4 years medical affairs, clinical affairs, or related scientific experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals
Knowledge of clinical research, evidence generation, and medical compliance standards
Experience engaging healthcare professionals and opinion leaders in scientific, non-promotional manner
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Fluency in Italian and English languages
Understanding of Italian healthcare systems and regulatory requirements
