ppMy client is a well-established, private equity-backed independent power producer with a strong and growing presence across Europe.
Following a recent acquisition in ****, the business is entering a new phase of expansion, with a significant renewable energy pipeline in Italy multi GW portfolio across solar PV, onshore wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
/ppThe Italian platform is headquartered in Milan, with a large team of professionals and a strong track record in project development and execution.
The company has a well-resourced origination function across Europe and is now looking to strengthen its commercial capabilities in Italy.
/ph6bThe Role /b /h6pThe Head of PPA Origination will lead commercial origination activities in Italy, with a strong focus on corporate PPAs and BESS offtake structuring.
This is a senior, front-office role requiring a highly entrepreneurial and sales-driven individual with deep market knowledge and an established network of corporate energy buyers.
/ppThe position sits within a broader European origination team and will work closely with senior leadership, including the Head of Origination.
While initially an individual contributor role at Director level, there is clear potential to scale responsibilities in line with the growth of the Italian portfolio.

and manage relationships with key corporate offtakers and energy buyers /p /lilipLeverage existing industry network to originate new commercial opportunities /p /lilipCollaborate cross-functionally with development, finance, legal, and engineering teams /p /lilipStructure commercially viable and competitive energy solutions tailored to client needs /p /lilipMonitor Italian energy market dynamics, regulatory developments, and procurement trends /p /lilipRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings /p /li /ulh3bCandidate Profile /b /h3ullip5+ years' experience in renewable energy origination, energy trading, or corporate energy sales /p /lilipProven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing corporate PPAs /p /lilipStrong understanding of the Italian CPPA market and key BESS offtake dynamics /p /lilipEstablished relationships with corporate energy buyers and/or utilities in Italy /p /lilipDemonstrated ability in PPA structuring and commercial deal-making /p /lilipHighly entrepreneurial, proactive, and self-motivated mindset /p /lilipStrong sales orientation with excellent communication and negotiation skills /p /lilipFluent in Italian and English /p /li /ulh6bWhy Apply?
