/ppThe bAbsheron Conventional Gas Condensates Project /b is an offshore development located in the Caspian Sea, approximately 100 km southeast of Baku, Azerbaijan, in around 500 m water depth.
The project includes subsea facilities, SURF systems and an offshore gas pipeline connected to the new onshore Central Processing Facility (CPF).
/ppThe bLead Umbilical Engineer /b will support the Absheron FFD Detailed Engineering and Extension FEED, with responsibility for Umbilical and Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) engineering, fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning.
/ph3Job Description /h3ulliLead Umbilical and FOC engineering activities within the SURF package.
/liliAct as the technical focal point for Umbilical and FOC matters.
/liliReview and approve Contractor/Vendor technical documentation, queries and deviations.
/liliEnsure compliance with project specifications, Company Rules, international codes and standards.
/liliCoordinate Umbilical and FOC interfaces with SURF, SPS, Telecom, Onshore and Installation teams.
/liliSupervise manufacturing and fabrication activities at Contractor/Vendor facilities.
/liliMonitor QA/QC, H3SE and technical compliance during fabrication and testing.
/liliFollow up FAT, SAT, PQT, qualification and other testing activities.
/liliSupport Umbilical and FOC installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
/liliIdentify and resolve technical issues, risks and interface challenges.
/liliParticipate in technical reviews, workshops and project meetings.
/liliProvide technical reporting and support to the SURF Technical Manager.
/liliSupport project close-out and capture lessons learned.
/li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMinimum b15 years of Oil Gas project experience /b.
/liliStrong specialist experience in bsubsea Umbilical engineering and installation /b.
/liliProven experience in bdeepwater and shallow-water Umbilicals /b.
/liliStrong experience in bFOC engineering and installation /b, including nearshore and landfall.
/liliExperience in Umbilical design, manufacturing, qualification, testing and offshore installation.
/liliKnowledge of applicable international codes, standards, regulations and Company Specifications/Rules.
/liliStrong knowledge of bQA/QC, NDT and metallurgy /b.
/liliExperience with FAT, SAT, PQT and qualification activities.
/liliStrong Contractor, Vendor and multidisciplinary interface management skills.
/liliExperience working on large-scale, complex offshore/subsea projects.
/liliStrong H3SE awareness and commitment to safe working practices.
/liliExcellent technical, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
/liliWillingness to undertake binternational travel and worldwide mobility /b.
