The selected candidate will work within a project titled "Application of Raman spectroscopy for the analysis of saliva and salivary extracellular vesicles for the early and differential diagnosis of Parkinson's disease – PANDORA", coordinated byDr.
Alice Gualerziat LABION – IRCCS S. Maria Nascente ( LABION Coordinator: Dr. Marzia Bedoni).
The project,
is part of LABION's research activities on the search for salivary biomarkers forParkinson's diseaseand has recently received funding from "Fondo diBeneficenza ed opere di carattere sociale e culturale di Intesa Sanpaolo".
The project will start by the end ofJanuary ****and will last for 12 months.
The project involves collaboration with other centers of the Fondazione Don Gnocchi in Italy.
The main responsibilities of the selected candidate will include:
Isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles from liquid biopsies.

Raman spectroscopy analysis of biological samples
Collaboration in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of clinical and experimental data.
