Overview In this Senior Forward Deployed Engineer role, you own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for Salesforce’s strategic customers, guiding architecture to production handoff. You act as the technical authority, partner with a Deployment Strategist, and mentor other engineers while driving high engineering standards. You’ll shape product evolution by surfacing field insights and piloting emerging AI tools in enterprise environments. This role combines hands-on engineering, customer impact, and leadership to advance the Agentforce platform.

Responsabilità

Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers, from architecture decisions to production handoff Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform, including multi-agent orchestration and integration patterns Manage data lifecycle across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment,

and orchestration Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs with prudent decision-making Mentor engineers through code reviews and paired sessions Provide technical depth on deployments when senior judgment is required Surface field insights to Product and Engineering to influence roadmaps Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate business challenges into deployable AI solutions

Requisiti fondamentali

≥6 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS Degree in Computer Science or related field Proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; conversant in the others Experience integrating LLMs into production and using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex; proficient in prompt engineering and responsible AI in real contexts Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics with platforms such as Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks Strong Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, Salesforce APIs Entrepreneurial, fast-delivery mindset with judgment on when speed is appropriate Mentoring experience and ability to create reusable assets and playbooks Clear, credible communication with engineering peers, customer architects, and executives Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed Business-level proficiency in Italian and English Clear communication Mentorship and leadership Problem-solving under complex constraints Python JavaScript/TypeScript Java
