In this role you will determine customs and export control classifications for ABB products, software, and materials, ensuring compliance with regulations. You will manage master data such as HTS and ECCN codes and support different teams with classification inquiries. You’ll stay ahead of regulatory changes and contribute to the product introduction process. This is an on-site role within a collaborative, solution-driven team focused on compliant, efficient operations in a cutting-edge energy technology environment.

Responsabilità
- Classify products, software and technologies during new product introductions
- Maintain and update master data (descriptions, HTS, ECCN) and assist customs declarants
- Provide guidance to teams on classification queries
- Review regulatory changes impacting product classification
- Support item classification on ad hoc basis when requested by local or country trade compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Respond to inquiries about product classification from relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements in classification and data management
Requisiti fondamentali
- Good knowledge or willingness to learn about ELSP products and technologies requiring classification
- Master degree in engineering (pref. Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Management)
- Good knowledge or willingness to learn customs and export control regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Strong organizational skills and attention to data management and documentation
- Business mindset, proactive and self-dependent, with strong communication
- Good English skills
