h3About the Role /h3pThis role sits within Product Project Management and the Sport Broadcast and Graphics delivery team, working alongside designers, engineers, and technologists to deliver digital experiences used by millions of fans. It leads cross-functional teams through complex, multi-disciplinary delivery, owning sprint execution, project financials, client relationships, and pre-sales scoping. The role is the central point of alignment between client objectives, delivery execution, and commercial outcomes. It sits at the intersection of delivery discipline and client relationship, with accountability for the sprint plan and the PL in the same week as presenting trade-offs to an executive sponsor. It suits someone who treats governance as protecting delivery quality, moves fluidly between detail and the bigger picture, and takes initiative to fix process gaps without waiting to be asked. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead cross-functional teams to execute complex Sport Broadcast and Graphics projects, ensuring alignment between client objectives, delivery execution, and user experience excellence. /liliTranslate client business objectives into measurable delivery outcomes that contribute to account and portfolio strategy. /liliFacilitate sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives, drive ongoing delivery optimisations, and lead post-launch reviews to measure operational stability and feed learnings back into project, product, and account roadmaps. /liliManage and track team velocity, project financials (PL), and KPIs against the project plan, and create and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and reporting documentation. /liliOversee project performance across delivery speed, scope, quality, and cost, protecting project margins through disciplined change control and commercial awareness. /liliServe as the central communication hub across internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and clients, providing clear, timely updates through regular reporting, standups, and client-facing reviews. /liliMaintain dependency plans across sprints, infrastructure,
and third-party integrations. /liliBuild trusted relationships with client stakeholders and executive sponsors, and drive an exceptional client experience from onboarding through to support. /liliConduct daily stand-ups and end-of-sprint retrospectives, promoting agile best practices and a high-performing team culture, and keep project artefacts (RACI matrix, RAID log, change requests, comms plans) current and accessible. /liliMentor and coach junior project team members and coordinators. /liliContribute to pre-sales and scoping efforts, including effort/cost estimates, RFIs, and Statements of Work (SOW). /liliEstablish governance cadences, steering committees, and milestone gates to keep projects aligned with business strategy. /li /ulh3Required Experience Qualifications /h3ulli3+ years' experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects lasting up to 12 months, managing budgets exceeding $500,000. /liliHands-on experience applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage development teams and deliver technology solutions on time and within scope. /liliProven ability to align delivery outcomes with client business goals, and to manage change control, risk, and profitability effectively. /liliStrong understanding of technical concepts, with the ability to bridge business goals and engineering realities. /liliComfortable using the Atlassian suite, especially Jira and Confluence, to manage workflows, documentation, and sprint tracking. /liliExcellent verbal and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly across audiences from engineering teams to senior stakeholders.
/liliExperience working in an international or distributed organisation, collaborating across time zones and cultures. /liliTrack record of mentoring team members and sharing knowledge across a delivery team. /liliTrack record of driving process improvements and delivering results in ambiguous situations, independent of formal authority. /li /ulh3Preferred Skills /h3ulliPrior experience in tennis-focused projects. /liliBackground in Sport Broadcast and Graphics projects more broadly. /liliExperience in a digital agency or fast-paced delivery environment. /liliExperience contributing to professional services engagements, RFIs, and Statement of Work (SOW) generation. /li /ulh3Workplace /h3ulliCandidates must be based in Italy; the role is offered on an Italian employment contract. Remote working from outside Italy is not supported due to local employment and tax legislation. /liliThe role falls under CCNL Commercio | D.Lgs. 96/2026. /li /ulh3Salary /h3ulliSalary starts from €48,000 at entry level rising to €65,000 for those with significant relevant experience; placement depends on the experience and expertise brought.
