As a Customs Specialist, you will coordinate EU import/export customs activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth goods flow. You’ll work with brokers, authorities, and internal teams to manage documentation and trade compliance. The role focuses on accurate classifications, origin determinations, and risk mitigation for cross-border operations. This is a hands-on, global logistics position that supports efficient, compliant movement of goods and ongoing regulatory awareness. Responsabilità

- Prepare and coordinate EU import/export customs declarations
- Ensure completeness and regulatory compliance of customs documentation
- Classify goods and determine product origin per customs rules
- Serve as primary contact for customs brokers, logistics providers, and authorities
- Review invoices and docs for quantities, values, and customs data
- Coordinate clearance activities and resolve customs issues for smooth goods movement
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on business
- Ensure compliance with sanctions,



embargoes, and trade restrictions
- Support minimizing customs risks and avoiding delays in cross-border operations
- Provide and update shipping instructions for sea shipments
- Verify commercial/transport documentation
- Track sea shipments from origin to destination
- Monitor ETA at POL and POD
- Coordinate destination haulage and container unloading slot bookings via OTM
- Review and approve extra costs related to sea shipments
- Participate in carrier performance reviews and resolve freight issues

Requisiti fondamentali

- 2-3 years of experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, Import/Export Operations, or related field
- Good understanding of customs regulations and import/export procedures
- Experience with customs declarations, invoices, and trade documentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience with MIC Customs Solutions is a strong advantage
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve customs issues
