For a client company operating in the technology and travel sector, we are looking for a: **POLICY AND REGULATORY MANAGER – SOUTHERN EUROPE** **What will you be responsible for?** * Developing and implementing regulatory strategies and compliance solutions across Southern Europe, with a primary focus on Italy, Greece, Croatia and Turkey. * Managing relationships with local and national governments, regulatory authorities, tax authorities and other institutional stakeholders. * Monitoring and analysing tax and fiscal regulations, particularly those concerning short-term rentals, tourist tax collection, registration and data sharing. * Managing agreements with Italian municipalities on tourist tax and supporting regulatory negotiations and legislative initiatives. * Collaborating with legal, product and international teams to develop compliance tools, regulatory policies and solutions. * Preparing policy papers, regulatory analyses and position statements, while identifying partnership opportunities with public institutions and external stakeholders. **Do you have the following skills and qualifications?** * At least 7 years of relevant experience in tax, fiscal, regulatory and compliance matters. * A degree in Law or a tax-related field is mandatory.



* Strong knowledge of the Italian regulatory framework and legislative processes; knowledge of other Southern European markets is an advantage. * Proven experience in stakeholder management, institutional relations and complex project management. * Excellent analytical, organisational, communication and negotiation skills. * Fluency in Italian and English. * Flexibility to travel frequently within Italy, Greece, Croatia and Turkey. **Working hours**: Full-time, 40 hours weekly. **Contract offer:** Employment through a fixed-term temporary agency contract. **Applicable collective agreement (CCNL):** Commerce. **Classification level:** Level 1. **Salary:** €84,000–€86,000 gross per year (RAL). **Work location:** Milan or Rome, with regular travel to Milan required for candidates based in Rome, including overnight stays, and frequent business travel across Southern Europe. **If you have the skills and experience required for this role, we look forward to receiving your application!** Grafton è il brand globale che si occupa di Professional Recruitment di Gi Group Holding, la prima multinazionale italiana del lavoro e una tra le principali realtà che offrono servizi e consulenza HR a livello globale.
