OverviewIn this Senior Engineer role, you will contribute to AECOM’s Bridges and Structures program from Milan, supporting a hybrid work setup. You’ll work on feasibility, design, and assessment tasks within a global network of experts to deliver complex bridge projects. The position combines technical leadership with client-facing reporting and multidisciplinary collaboration. You’ll help shape infrastructure that supports communities, leveraging a strong engineering foundation and international standards.

Responsabilità

Lead and contribute to feasibility studies, concept development, and detailed design for bridge projectsPerform structural assessments, inspections, and construction support activitiesEngage in project management services and coordinate with multidisciplinary teamsCollaborate with AECOM’s global network of bridge and structural engineers to deliver high-impact projectsPrepare design reports, technical documentation, and client presentations in English

Requisiti fondamentali





Minimum 5 years of experience in structural and bridge engineeringProficiency with Eurocodes and National Highways and Railway StandardsKnowledge of AS5100, AASHTO LRFD, and ACI design codes is advantageousExperience in structural analysis and design using MIDAS Civil, IDEA StatiCa, Ponti EC4Familiarity with SOFiSTiK is a plusStrong technical, written, and verbal communication skills in Italian and EnglishAbility to deliver design reports and client presentations in English to a high standardFamiliarity with BIM methodologies and multidisciplinary project delivery environmentsFluency in Italian and EnglishPreferred: Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and professional-engineering status (ICE/IPD)Strong communication and presentation skillsTeam collaboration and cross-functional coordinationProactive problem solving and attention to detailEurocodes and National Highways and Railway StandardsAS5100, AASHTO LRFD, ACI design codesMIDAS Civil, IDEA StatiCa, Ponti EC4
