€70,000-€85,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus annual bonus and company car/car allowance
Reporting To: EU ArcBox Manager
Location: Home-based, with regular travel in Italy
Employment: Full-time The Opportunity Viridian Solar is the UK's leading provider of integrated solar solutions for construction and part of the Marshalls PLC Group. Following the development and launch of ArcBox, an industry-first DC connector enclosure safety product, we are expanding the product across the Italian residential and commercial solar markets.
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Product Sales Manager based in Italy to lead ArcBox sales. The role will drive revenue growth, expand market share and build strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
What you will be doing Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed ArcBox revenue targets in Italy.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the residential and commercial solar sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with installers, distributors, wholesalers, trade associations and insurance providers.
Visit clients and partners across Italy, make outbound sales calls and engage with prospects through social media.
Work closely with current and prospective wholesalers to expand ArcBox sales channels.
Provide market insight, monitor competitor activity and share feedback with marketing and product development teams.
Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver quarterly sales reports, updates and performance analysis.
What success looks like Revenue targets are achieved or exceeded, supported by a strong and sustainable sales pipeline in Italy.
ArcBox gains market share through new customers, sectors and an expanding distributor and wholesaler network.
Strong stakeholder relationships are converted into long-term customer and partnership opportunities.
Sales activity, CRM data, reporting and market feedback are accurate, timely and actionable.
What We're Looking For A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven sales professional with a strong track record of closing partnership deals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in outbound sales calls and stakeholder presentations.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Computer literate, personable, presentable and reliable.
Fluent in both Italian and English, spoken and written.
Based in Italy and comfortable travelling regularly to meet clients and partners.
Useful Experience Experience in the solar sector and knowledge of the solar energy market.
Experience working with distributors and wholesalers, including across multiple countries.
Experience selling into residential and commercial solar markets.
Existing exposure to installers, trade associations, insurance providers or other solar-industry stakeholders.
