This requirement addresses the need for proper accountability and management of Deployable Communication and Information Systems (D-CIS) currently deposited at the DACCC. At present, D-CIS systems are not fully recorded in any centralized logistics system. Certain components are owned by NCIA, while others were procured through NSPA. However, the D-CIS capabilities were delivered as complete systems, and individual components have not been systematically registered in any logistics system of record. b. As DACCC is now the designated user and responsible authority on behalf of ACO for managing this equipment, there is currently no clear guidance on which items should be recorded in which system.
