The Role
Take full ownership of month-end close and management accounts for the Italian entity and act as a hands-on finance partner to the local commercial team and the Head of Finance Europe. You’ll also lead the NetSuite rollout in Italy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own month-end close and the monthly management pack (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis)
- Manage AP, cash, bank reconciliations and the fixed asset register
- Oversee inventory, stock movements and COGS
- Handle intercompany recharges, reconciliations and group reporting
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and transfer pricing
- Support statutory compliance and liaise with external auditors
- Partner with Sales and Operations on commissions, dashboards and forecasts
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and rolling outlooks
What You’ll Bring
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Italian equivalent qualification
- Proven Financial Controller or Management Accountant experience
- Knowledge of IFRS, Italian GAAP and local taxes
- ERP experience (NetSuite or similar)
- Fluent English and strong Italian
- Nice to have: transfer pricing and intercompany experience
