Founding BDR (Italy) | Hybrid, near Milan
We’re hiring on behalf of our client, a confidential e-commerce software company. We’ll share their name with shortlisted candidates.
About our client
- E-commerce software, $50M+ annual revenue, growing fast
- Active in multiple markets, with proven product-market fit and many happy customers
- Their first dedicated BDR in the Italy market. Until now, sales has been entirely full-cycle.
The role
- Cold calling and pipeline generation, with the phone as your main tool
- Around 80 dials a day to e-commerce decision-makers
- Booking qualified meetings for the account executives
- Shaping the Italy BDR playbook as the first person in the role
- Reporting directly to the Italy Country Manager, so the learning curve is steep and leadership is close at hand
What they’re looking for
- A hungry, driven hunter mentality
- Someone who enjoys the phone and isn’t put off by hearing “no”
- Nice to have: 6–12 months in an SDR/BDR or cold calling role, or agency or e-commerce sales experience
- Not required: mindset matters more than experience
Practicalities
- Start date: 1 February 2027 (fixed)
- 2+ days in office weekly in Milan
