Have you grown an existing B2B customer portfolio through renewals, upselling and cross-selling? We are supporting an international technology company in logistics and global trade with the appointment of a commercially driven Account Manager in Milan.
We are looking primarily for experience in B2B SaaS account management or commercially accountable customer success. Experience in logistics technology or supply-chain software is particularly relevant. You will bring a proven ability to retain customers, increase platform adoption and turn customer needs into additional revenue.
The opportunity
You will own an established B2B customer portfolio, with responsibility for retention and account growth. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role with direct involvement in commercial discussions, account planning and resolving issues alongside Operations, Product and technical teams. You will apply your technology-account-management skills to customers with complex logistics and supply-chain needs.
What you will do
• Own account plans and identify, negotiate and close renewal,
upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Use discovery to uncover customer priorities, competing solutions, additional stakeholders and opportunities to expand the relationship.
• Track adoption, account health and commercial performance; prioritise accounts by growth potential, renewal timing and churn risk.
• Build relationships with decision-makers, lead onboarding and quarterly business reviews, and demonstrate the value delivered.
• Coordinate operational or technical issue resolution while protecting customer confidence and commercial outcomes.
• Maintain accurate account, opportunity and forecast data in Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
