In this role you will oversee procurement for the luxury Orient Express hotel in Rome, ensuring top-quality goods, timely supply, and compliant processes. You will shape procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost efficiencies while upholding luxury standards. You will collaborate with department heads to align purchasing with operational needs, budgets, and the hotel's premium guest experience. Responsabilità
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational and financial objectives
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers for F&B;, housekeeping, engineering, spa, and operating supplies
- Ensure timely availability of goods and services for daily operations
- Monitor market trends,



pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and service providers
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations for quality, reliability, and compliance
- Negotiate contracts, pricing terms, and service conditions
- Achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality or guest experience
- Oversee stock control and inventory reconciliation; ensure accurate records

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor in Business Administration
- At least 3 years in purchasing/procurement with at least 1 year in a managerial role in hospitality
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience with procurement and inventory systems
- Excellent analytical and financial acumen
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and purchasing software
- Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
