Purpose of the Role The Strategic Planning Analyst is a newly created role within the EMEA SI&OP; organization, designed to close a critical gap in long-term planning and scenario analysis. This role focuses on the strategic horizon of supply planning - translating market signals, Big Bets, and pipeline opportunities into long-term workload plans, investment business cases, and multi-plant allocation strategies.
Job Description
The Strategic Planning Analyst is a newly created role within the EMEA SI&OP; organization, designed to close a critical gap in long-term planning and scenario analysis. This role focuses on the strategic horizon of supply planning - translating market signals, Big Bets, and pipeline opportunities into long-term workload plans, investment business cases, and multi-plant allocation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare data for the Strategic planning process, collecting demand signals and converting them into long-term workload projections.
- Develop strategic workload allocation plans across multiple EMEA plants, IS projects, ICO business,



and NPDI initiatives.
- Build investment business cases in collaboration with AME, Procurement, and Finance to support capacity expansion or reallocation decisions.
- Link SI&OP; to Procurement by providing strategic volume outlooks that drive long-term purchasing strategies and supplier development.
- Conduct scenario planning and what-if analyses to evaluate the impact of demand shifts, capacity constraints, or new product introductions on the regional supply network.
- Participate in Large/Top Projects workstreams, ensuring strategic supply considerations are embedded in project planning from inception.
- Maintain a weekly cadence with Sales Leadership, AME, and Procurement to capture evolving strategic inputs and align long-term plans.
- Support Six Sigma projects (Green Belt level) focused on improving strategic planning accuracy and process maturity.
