About The Role Ruby Labs builds and scales multiple D2C subscription products across health, education, and entertainment. Quality is not a gate at the end of our process; it is woven into every sprint, every release, and every decision.
We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Specialist who takes genuine ownership of product quality. In this role,
you will work closely with engineers and product managers to test new features rigorously, catch issues before they reach users, and continuously raise the bar for what “done” means.
This is a hands‑on, technically demanding role. You will move fluidly between manual exploratory testing and automated test suites, from API validation to end‑to‑end funnel testing. You care deeply about getting things right, not just checking boxes.
Key Responsibilities
- Test web applications and native Android and iOS applications.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for new features, covering functional, regression, edge cases, and end‑to‑end scenarios using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Perform exploratory and risk‑based testing to uncover issues that scripted tests miss.
- Act as the first line of investigation for customer complaints – reproduce the issue, reconstruct the user’s session from available data, and
