Business Development Lead (Italy) - open and own a new market for an AI video intelligence company. Milan or Rome, hybrid. A European AI company is building solutions that automatically detect situations of interest in video streams - deployed across public and private sector environments, civilian and defence, strictly GDPR-compliant. Mission-driven, and aiming to become Europe's leading video intelligence company. We need someone already embedded in the Italian market, able to reach the right entities within one or two calls - not months of cold prospecting. What You’ll Do * Identify, approach, and close BD opportunities with public sector bodies and large private operators across Italy * Build and activate a trusted network of decision-makers - municipalities,
government/defence-adjacent entities, transport, logistics and security operators * Move fast from first contact to signed agreement, leveraging relationships you already have * Act as the primary local point of contact, coordinating with leadership on deal strategy and occasional in-person visits What We’re Looking For * A proven BD/sales track record in Italy, with a network you can activate immediately * Native or fluent Italian and fluent English * Familiarity with Italian public procurement and public-sector buyers * Based in Milan or Rome preferred; elsewhere in Italy also considered * Self-starting, fast-moving, and comfortable selling into security, defence or public-sector buyers Offers: * strong fixed retainer + commission on signed revenue + equity * build and own a brand-new market * real-world public safety impact What is TechTree?
