OverviewIn this role you will lead the development of technical and commercial proposals for LV UPS and related critical power solutions on a global scale.
You will combine engineering expertise with commercial insight to craft competitive, profitable offerings for data centers, semiconductor facilities, and other mission-critical sites.
You'll work with cross-functional teams to align customer requirements with ABB's portfolio and growth goals.
This role offers impact through shaping large-scale power infrastructure and advancing ABB's critical power leadership.
ResponsabilitàLead preparation and management of technical and commercial tenders, including risk reviews, ensuring timely, competitive, profitable proposals
Design LV UPS solutions meeting customer specs and performance requirements across data centers and mission-critical facilities
Support business development through customer presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and promotion of solutions
Review customer specifications and project requirements, providing application engineering support to customers, consultants, and sales teams
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, engineering, factories, and vendor partners to develop executable, value-driven proposals and support commercial negotiations

Leverage the full Critical Power portfolio to maximize customer value and business opportunities
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, standards, and regulatory requirements
Pursue ongoing development of technical, commercial, and proposal management expertise through learning and training
Requisiti fondamentaliMinimum 8 years experience in electrical power, critical power, or energy infrastructure
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with UPS systems, batteries, BMS, power conversion, and system integration
Experience in proposal management, project engineering, quotation development, or contract negotiation
Experience in data centers, semiconductor facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure preferred
Strong technical knowledge of LV UPS, battery tech, BMS, power system integration, switchgear, transformers, electrical distribution, and power system analysis
Experience managing projects for strategic global accounts is an advantage
Strong customer focus, commercial awareness, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline is a strong advantage
