The role requires a senior profile with strong experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable, and reliable data solutions, capable of driving technical decisions and effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
/p h3Salary and job classification /h3 ul liBase salary: €62K - €78K + 4K bonus pack /li liCCNL: Commercio /li liLadder: Data Engineer IV /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyzes, designs, and implements complex systems; /li liChallenges the team processes, looking for ways to improve; /li liMentors junior engineers via pairing, design, and code review; /li liBuilds software solutions by adhering to our quality standards about SDLC; /li liMakes active efforts to stay up-to-date with technologies; /li liLeads the technical design of complex systems; /li liUnderstands and optimizes system performances; /li liTakes the initiative to fix issues before they become a problem; /li liDelivers complex systems, well-baked, and almost bug-free; /li liProactively Identifies problems with required and project plan; /li liGo to an expert in one technological area; /li liResearch and propose new technologies; /li liDetect possible performance bottlenecks; /li liKnown for drama-free launches; /li liCan jump into an old project and fix it; /li liConsistently influence technical and business roadmap of services/products/projects; /li liProactively identify and tackle tech debt; /li liCommunicate with self-awareness; /li liWhen proposing something, at any level, is doing it in written form and providing the proper context; /li liContributes to the career development of others.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science; /li li6+ previous experience; /li liIn-depth knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and similar frameworks; /li liIn-depth knowledge of programming languages, including Java; /li liSome knowledge of Data Mesh; /li liStrong expertise in cloud-native technologies; /li liExcellent project management skills; /li liExcellent communication skills; /li liProactivity; /li liBusiness and functional understanding; /li liTeam Player; /li liAbility to solve complex networking, data, and software issues; /li liLeadership capabilities.
