H3Job Description /h3 pThe Commodity Manager is responsible for developing and executing a variety of broad Commodity strategies for MITER Brands. This role will be responsible for managing 3-4 subcategories, developing supplier and commodity cost reduction strategies, analyzing/communicating market intelligence, leading commercial negotiations, and monitoring supplier performance. /p pPlease note that this position is not a remote or hybrid remote role. The home base for this position will be one of the three locations listed above, and there is a 20-30% travel requirement. /p h3Pay Range /h3 p$100,000 - $135,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications /p h3Location /h3 pTacoma, WA 98402 or Harrisburg, PA 17110, or North Venice, FL 34275 /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEstablish supplier relationships (strategic, critical or tactical) /li liMaintain relationship with sustaining engineering product management /li liLead commercial QBR’s /li liConduct/analyze RFQ’s /li liSupplier executive engagement/relationship /li liAcquire, maintain, and communicate market trends /li liReview supplier quarterly/annual reports (when applicable) /li liLead routine supplier reviews /li liSupport supplier quality improvements /li liRecommend supplier audits /li liIdentify optimal terms across the enterprise /li liSupport product rationalization/harmonization efforts /li liDrive supplier performance improvement when needed /li liMonitor supplier performance /li liLead commercial negotiations /li liDeveloping category-level strategies /li liCurating supplier relationships /li liAchieving lower costs /li liHelp to create a competitive advantage /li liCreate analysis reports /li liMaintain relationship with NPD engineering product management /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred /li liCPM, CPIM or CSCP certification preferred /li liMinimum of 2 years’ sourcing experience working for a major, large dollar operation /li liMinimum of 1 year at Senior Buyer level or Strategic Buyer level in manufacturing sector /li /ul pMITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments.
