We are seeking a talented, innovative, and highly operational
Executive Chef
to lead the culinary vision of Borgo.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a passion for authentic gastronomy, and the ability to elevate the culinary identity of the resort while ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
This role will be instrumental in building a stronger culinary offering, creating memorable dining experiences, enhancing the resort's food reputation, and developing a high-performing kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the culinary strategy for all Borgo dining outlets.
Build a stronger culinary identity that reflects the destination while incorporating international standards and innovation.
Design and continuously enhance menus, concepts, and guest dining experiences.
Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency.
Manage food cost, labor cost,
budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control.
Collaborate closely with F&B; leadership to drive guest satisfaction and revenue performance.
Develop signature culinary events, themed experiences, and seasonal offerings.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
Support talent recruitment and succession planning within the culinary team.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as Executive Chef in luxury resorts, five-star hotels, or high-end restaurant operations.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
Demonstrated success in elevating culinary concepts and food quality standards.
Passion for local products, sustainability, and authentic guest experiences.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing food and labor costs.
Creativity combined with operational discipline.
Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.
International hospitality experience preferred.
