For over 60 years the company has been providing the world’s best athletes and motorsports enthusiasts in the pursuit of performance excellence with the most technologically advanced products which fuse protection, performance, innovation and style. /ppThanks to the outstanding quality and continuous innovation of our products, we are currently going through a solid expansion phase on the global market, for which we aim to reinforce our strongly international teams with top talent from anywhere in the world. /ph3Position /h3pWe are currently looking for a skilled bTechnical Product Developer – Protections /bto join our Protections Department, taking on a pivotal role in our Product Development process. /ppThis is a great opportunity for a dynamic, experienced, and technical Product Developer to work across several product categories, building on your skills and experience within a leading motorsports brand. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliYou will be responsible for managing the development process of protectors end-to-end, from design to production kick-off phase, making sure to keep the process on schedule. /liliWorking cross-functionally, you will select new materials with the Designers, coordinating and maintaining material specifications so that they meet any needed both quality and performance standards. /liliLiaising closely with our suppliers, you will be communicating with them with regards to garment amendments as well as on 3D CAD modifications.
/liliYou will also be in charge of product costing and related tooling costing through technical documentation such as BOMs, making sure not to exceed from the set target. /liliYou will maintain the Tech Chart and related technical information up to date. /liliYou will ensure that garment fit as well as performance standards are respected, managing defect elimination during the prototyping phase and notifying any needed changes to our suppliers. /liliWorking closely with our Testing Team, you will ensure that our products exceed set quality requirements. /liliYou will also manage 3D CAD files, so to carry out feasibility analysis using either Catia and / or Rhinoceros. /liliYou will also be responsible for Production kick-off. /li /ulh3Skills Qualifications /h3ulliA minimum of 5+ years’ experience in technical product development within the Sporting Goods industry. /liliSolid knowledge and previous working experience on CE certified safety devices. /liliStrong knowledge of technical sportswear and related technical materials such as plastics, thermoplastics, and composites. /liliKnowledge of MS Office package. /liliGood knowledge of Adobe Suite, particularly of Illustrator. /liliGood knowledge of CAD software such as Catia and / or Rhinoceros. /liliFluency in English. /liliAvailability to travel. /liliStrong interpersonal and teamworking skills, as well as a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills will complete the profile. /li /ulh3Other Information /h3pCompensation: From €40,000 (Depending on experience) /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
