PThe Software engineer, reporting to the Team Leader, will be responsible for designing and implementing the software for managing our devices, implementing User Interfaces and managing the data flow. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyzing software and system requirements /li liParticipating in brain storming sessions for defining solutions to specific problems /li liDefining and implementing algorithms processing images and point clouds /li liDefining and implementing and training neural network for classification, detection and segmentation /li liLiaising with internal and external customers at technical level to define interfaces and detail requirements /li liImplementing software solutions according to software specification and quality requirements /li liSupporting testing activities /liliComplying with corporate rules ad practices for software development /li liEstimating implementation effort for given tasks /li liCooperating with colleagues to define common solutions /li liPropose actively improvements to software products and procedures /li liInterface and cooperate with other company departments /li /ul h3Technical Skills,
Qualifications and Professional Experience /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering/Computer Science or similar /li li3 years of experience in similar roles; /li liExperience in multithreading /li liExperience in image and/or 3D data processing /li liKnowledge of computer vision algorithim /li liExperience in using deep learning techniques for classification/detection/segmentation of images is considered a strong plus /li liKnowledge of Tensorflow/Keras or Pytorch is considered a strong plus /li liKnowledge of OpenCV or Halcon is a strong plus /li liGood communication skills in written and spoken Italian (at least B2) /li liGood knowledge of written and spoken English is essential /li /ul h3Contract type /h3 pFull time, Permanent Contract /p h3Gross Annual Salary (RAL) /h3 p35.000€ - 40.000€, commensurate with experience and qualifications. /p h3Additional benefits /h3 pElectronic meal vouchers and welfare benefits in line with the provisions of the applicable CCNL. /p pMermec is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
