With a rich heritage of technological innovation and a forward-thinking approach, we lead the energy transition through engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology, and strong execution capabilities. /ppTecnimont is looking for a bMaterials Buyer – Static Equipment, Boilers Structures /b to join the bProcurement Department /b. /ph3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3pThe Materials Buyer reports to the Purchasing Group Leader and is responsible for managing the procurement activities related to bStatic Equipment, Boilers Structures /b, ensuring compliance with Project requirements, Corporate Procedures, budget constraints, and delivery schedules. The role contributes to the successful execution of procurement strategies by managing the entire purchasing cycle, from supplier selection through commercial negotiation and order administration. /ppYou will be responsible for: /pulliPreparing bidders lists and identifying qualified suppliers for assigned procurement packages. /liliManaging requests for quotation (RFQs) and coordinating the bidding process with selected Vendors. /liliPerforming commercial evaluation and tabulation of suppliers’ offers in close cooperation with Engineering and Project Teams. /liliConducting commercial and contractual negotiations, including terms and conditions, with suppliers to achieve the best overall value for the project. /liliIssuing Purchase Orders and managing subsequent revisions, amendments, and contractual updates. /liliEnsuring procurement activities are carried out in compliance with project specifications, schedules, budgets, and company procedures. /liliCoordinating with Engineering, Expediting, Inspection, Logistics, and Project Procurement teams throughout the purchasing process. /liliSupporting the Project Procurement Manager and Procurement Coordinators in the management of commercial issues with Vendors, including claims, change orders, contractual disputes,



and liquidated damages discussions. /liliMonitoring supplier performance and supporting the resolution of commercial and contractual issues during the execution phase of the supply. /liliMaintaining procurement records and ensuring accurate reporting through company systems and tools, including SAP. /liliContributing to supplier qualification activities, market analysis, and procurement strategy development for the assigned commodities. /liliBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support project objectives and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. /li /ulh3bRequirements and Skills /b /h3ulliTechnical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines. /lili3-8 years of experience in procurement within EPC companies, engineering contractors, or industrial environments. /liliPrevious experience in purchasing activities related to Static Equipment, Boilers, Structural Materials, or other engineered equipment. /liliknowledge of procurement processes, commercial negotiations, and contract management. /liliFamiliarity with international suppliers, manufacturing processes, and market dynamics related to the assigned commodities. /liliExperience using ERP systems (SAP is a plus) for purchasing and supply management. /liliProfessional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. /liliStrong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills. /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment. /liliAvailability for occasional business travel in Italy and abroad. /li /ulh3bContract Type and Classification /b /h3ulliContract Type: Permanent /liliApplicable Collective Agreement (NCLC):
