We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the implementation of our mill maintenance operations agreement in the beautiful city of Lucca, Italy. The agreement’s objective is to ensure successful maintenance operation in the customer paper mill. Be part of a forward-thinking initiative that values innovation and development in the heart of operations. /ph3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliSupport the GMM in establishing safe operations for maintenance and site activities, following country, Valmet, and customer HSE policies. /liliAssist the GMM in developing a long-term maintenance plan, including budget preparation and cost control. /liliIn cooperation with the customer’s manager and related teams, create an action plan and implement required actions to meet or improve targets. /liliSupporting in management of daily and shutdown maintenance work, providing needed instructions and guidance to the team in their day-to-day activities and during critical or emergency situations. /liliSupport troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving. /liliAssist planners with scheduling, planning, and making modifications to preventive maintenance tasks. /liliSupport the team during outages, ensuring cost control and work order closure. /liliHandle personnel issues. /liliDevelop team skills and efficiency through coaching and training. /li /ulh3Expectations /h3ulliA bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field /lili5+ years of experience in relevant maintenance operations in the pulp, paper, or tissue industries /liliKnowledge of both mechanical and automation systems.
