pbLocation: /b Remote – Preference for candidates based in Turin (Italy) or Madrid (Spain) /p pbExperience: /b Minimum 2 years /p pAYES, an international engineering and technology consulting company, is looking for a bConfiguration Manager – Software Configuration Management (SCM) /b with strong hands‑on experience in bGit, software development and merge conflict resolution /b to support an international engineering project. /p pAYES operates globally, delivering advanced solutions and innovative projects across leading industries, including Automotive, Aerospace Defense, Railway, Energy, Oil Gas, Life Sciences and Telecommunications. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage software configuration and source code management activities using Git, SVN and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools. /li libPerform Git branch management, merging, rebasing and conflict resolution /b, ensuring code consistency and integration across different software versions. /li libAnalyze, troubleshoot and resolve source code conflicts /b, leveraging hands‑on software development and programming experience. /li liSupport software development teams in repository management, code integration and version control processes. /li liAdminister and maintain configuration management environments, including IBM Engineering Test Management (ETM) and Global Configuration Management (GCM). /li liManage software baselines, repository access and configuration management processes. /li liSupport release management activities and ensure consistency and traceability across software versions.
/li liCollaborate with development teams and stakeholders to improve configuration management workflows. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum b2 years of hands‑on experience in software development /b, software integration or a closely related technical role. /li libStrong hands‑on experience with Git /b, particularly branching, merging, rebasing and conflict resolution. /li libSolid programming skills and practical coding experience /b, with the ability to understand, modify and troubleshoot source code. /li liProven experience in resolving merge conflicts and supporting software integration activities. /li liExperience with version control systems, including Git and preferably SVN. /li liKnowledge of IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools, particularly ETM and GCM. /li liUnderstanding of software configuration management principles, repository administration, baselines and release processes. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liAbility to work independently and collaborate with international software development teams. /li libFluent English is mandatory. /b /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience in complex engineering environments, particularly Railway, Automotive or Aerospace Defense. /li liExperience with scripting and automation of repository management or integration activities. /li /ul pIf you are passionate about software development, version control and configuration management, and enjoy solving complex technical challenges, we would love to hear from you. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
