Summary
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Workers Compensation team in our Naples office. The Workers Compensation Associate Attorney will support fellow Attorneys with a heavy and complex case-load of Workers Compensation casesl, and will vantaggi from working at the firm with the largest marketing budget in this space. You will learn how M&M; handles Workers Compensation cases and how we maximize the best result for the claimants. Our lawyers work the best cases, with close to unlimited resources, and alongside world-class trial Attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
- Guide claimants through the case process
- Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and appearances.
Qualifications
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association. Multiple State Bar Licenses preferred.
- Minimum 1+ years of workers compensation experience
- Ability to manage high volume of cases through full life cycle
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
