/p h3About the role /h3 pAs our Roma West Assistant Site Manager, you'll work closely with the Site Manager and a great team of permanent Grain Handlers to help deliver a safe, smooth and efficient service in receiving, storing and outloading grain by both road and rail.
/p pAlongside a variety of hands-on grain handling tasks that keep our operation moving, you will also: /p ul liCoordinate day-to-day workflow of the team and support to attract, select, train, and develop permanent and casual team members /li liDevelop and maintain relationships with growers, customers,
local community groups and internal stakeholders /li liSupport the resource planning for grain receival / outload activity during peak and off-peak periods /li liSupport the planning and execution of scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, grain protection, safety and quality activities and related reporting /li liSupervise a large seasonal workforce during our busy harvest intake periods, including at multiple sites.
/li /ul h3About your experience /h3 pOur ideal candidate has plant operations experience gained in any industry, a strong safety mindset, and a genuine desire to make a positive contribution to the thriving agricommodities industry.
You should also have: /p ul liSome experience in supervising/leading teams (or the potential to) /li liGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team /li liCapability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
