As a Buyer, you'll be responsible for purchasing the materials, supplies, machinery,
and services that equip our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
You'll collaborate across teams and showcase your organization and strategic planning skills to monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling, negotiate with suppliers, and procure essential items that transform possibilities into realities for our customers and teams.
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Buyer to join our Purchasing Team and support both New Product Introduction (NPI) and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, securing material availability, driving cost competitiveness, and supporting negotiation activities across a global supply base.
Role Responsibilities: Ensure continuity of supply to support manufacturing requirements while meeting quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Manage purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries, resolve receiving and invoicing issues, and maintain compliance with established purchasing processes.
Proactively drive supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery of parts and materials to Applied Materials manufacturing sites.
Partner closely with suppliers on demand and supply planning activities, including pull-in and push-out execution to support changing business requirements.
