About The Role
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Record clear, natural voice samples by reading provided scripts and responding to conversational prompts
- Vary your tone, pacing, and delivery style as directed to capture a range of speech patterns
- Ensure recordings are clean, clear, and free from background noise and interference
- Complete metadata forms that describe and categorize each recording session
- Participate in both scripted reading sessions and open-ended conversational recordings
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Clear, natural speaking voice — no professional training required
- Access to a quiet environment suitable for recording
- Access to a microphone or a smartphone with decent audio quality
- Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded
- Reliable and consistent when completing task-based work independently
- No voice acting, audio production, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in broadcasting, podcasting, narration, teaching, or public speaking
- Access to a dedicated microphone or home recording setup
- Familiarity with audio recording tools or software
- A naturally expressive or distinctive voice
