OverviewIn this role you will lead environmental, health, and safety programs across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. You will partner with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to embed safety into project execution and drive proactive risk reduction. You will develop and oversee audits, training, and incident investigations to sustain regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture. This position offers visibility across multiple projects and a chance to shape safety strategy in a mission-critical environment.

Responsabilità

Lead construction safety program implementation and continuous improvement across active project sitesProvide leadership to site safety professionals and ensure consistent policy executionCollaborate with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to integrate safety into construction activitiesConduct safety audits, site assessments, and program evaluations to identify risks and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with OSHA and federal, state, and local regulationsLead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective action planningDevelop and deliver safety training, orientations,



and leadership coaching for field personnel and contractorsSupport Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and mitigation strategiesEstablish and monitor safety performance metrics and report insights to leadershipServe as primary safety liaison with internal stakeholders, contractors, and project leadershipPromote accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive hazard identification across construction operations

Requisiti fondamentali

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience8–10 years of construction safety experience, including 3+ years in leadershipDemonstrated experience managing safety programs in complex construction environmentsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence safety culture and drive cross-functional complianceOSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification requiredSTS-C or CHST certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of hireProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Preferred CSP or related credentialsleadershipcommunicationstakeholder managementsafety program developmentregulatory compliance (OSHA)audits and inspections
