Job Ref: HP-3204 Milan, Italy Competitive Solar PV ContractPROJECT MANAGER - SOLAR PV - RENEWABLE ENERGY - CLIENT SIDE - NORTHERN ITALY - FREELANCE / CONSULTANTLocation: Northern Italy - Hybrid / Remote with Site TravelContract: Freelance / Independent ContractorDuration: Initial 6 Months – High Potential ExtensionStart: ASAP / Within 4 WeeksSector: Utility-Scale Solar PV / Renewable EnergyThe OpportunityWe are partnering with a leading international renewable energy investment and asset management business seeking an experienced Solar PV Project Manager to support the delivery of a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects across Northern Italy.The portfolio consists of multiple Solar PV developments ranging from 5MW to 20MW, with appointed EPC contractors progressing projects through construction and grid connection.This is a hands-on project management appointment requiring someone comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, navigating complex stakeholder requirements and providing clear reporting to an international management team.Key Responsibilities:Manage the client-side delivery of multiple utility-scale Solar PV projects across Northern Italy.Oversee EPC contractor performance, construction programmes, budgets and project milestones.Coordinate technical consultants, grid specialists, quality personnel and other delivery stakeholders.Monitor project costs, risks, variations and financial performance.Review contractor progress,



milestone approvals and payment applications.Manage relationships with corporate clients and ensure compliance with contractual and reporting requirements.Coordinate grid connection activities with local contractors and relevant stakeholders.Provide regular project updates, progress reports and risk assessments to senior management.Requirements:Proven Project Management experience delivering utility-scale Solar PV projects.Electrical Engineering background preferred.Experience managing multiple projects and complex corporate stakeholders.Fluent Italian and English communication skills.Based in Northern Italy, with flexibility to attend the Milan office and project sites.Strong project controls, cost management and reporting capabilities.PMP / PMI certification advantageous but not essential.Contract DetailsInitial 6-month freelance contract, with high extension potential for further assignments.Full-time commitment, 5 days per week.Hybrid working arrangement with site visits and occasional Milan office attendance.Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.Potential flexibility to begin tempo parziale before transitioning to full-time.If you are an experienced Solar PV Project Manager with strong client-side delivery experience and would like to work on behalf of one of Europe's leading investment management companies, please apply by submitting your CV or reach out directly to: (email hidden)n FloydRecruitment Consultant +44 (phone hidden) (email hidden)
