The role
We are seeking a Senior Facility Engineer, focusing on the upkeep and maintenance of the cleanroom and supporting facility. In this role, your primary focus will be installing, maintaining, optimizing and scaling our DI water, chemical and gas supplies, and maintaining cleanroom conditions in the fab.
You will support both production and R&D; needs in this new facility, which will operate 24/7.
Your responsibilities
Establish the engineering and maintenance business processes needed to run facility equipment in production, and document them to quality standards, for cleanroom support facility such as cooling water, DI water, and bulk and specialty gas supplies.
Track, maintain and improve the delivery performance of the associated facility supplies, using SPC and proven statistical methods to ensure high-performance supply to the fab.
Apply structured problem solving and root cause analysis to resolve issues and put permanent corrective actions in place.
Strong focus on keeping timelines and cost/budget control.
Ensure close interaction with facility equipment suppliers, including owning the escalation of issues and calling in specialists where needed (travel, service changes).
