Overview
Senior Medical Director provides strategic medical and scientific leadership in Rheumatology, driving engagement with clients and bid processes. You will act as a medical director and SME across the R&D; lifecycle, shaping clinical development plans andCenter of Excellence strategy. You collaborate across the organization to optimize resources and contribute to thought leadership. This role combines senior leadership with hands-on execution in a global, client-facing setting.
Responsabilità Work independently of the therapeutic area head
Lead strategic proposal development with the proposal team
Participate as leader and SME in client bid defense meetings
Act as consultant throughout the R&D; lifecycle and clinical trials, or as a standalone solution
Formulate clinical development plans and execute the group strategy for the Center of Excellence




Collaborate across the organization to leverage resources
Encourage involvement in thought leadership activities
Requisiti fondamentali Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
At least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting
CRO background with senior strategic leadership and Rheumatology expertise
MD with training in Rheumatology and Board Certified – Rheumatology
Exceptional business knowledge to drive results and provide organizational thought leadership
Willingness to travel up to 20% (national/international)
