Document Controller – €50/hour – Remote (Milan Area)We’re currently supporting a major global infrastructure project and are looking for an experienced Document Controller to join on a long-term contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale (€100M+) projects within a structured EPC / contractor environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
The Role
- Manage and maintain project documentation across multiple workstreams
- Ensure document control processes are followed and compliant
- Support contractors, quality teams, and project stakeholders
- Act as a key point of coordination across project interfaces
- Work within a fast-paced, large-scale delivery environment
- This is a highly interactive role (≈70% stakeholder engagement) — not just admin
Location & Working Pattern
- Milan area ( within 50km )
- Predominantly remote
- Occasional office presence (as required)
- 40 hours per week
Contract Details
- €50 per hour
- 18-month contract + likely extension
- Start: ASAP (within 4–5 weeks)
- Interview process: 1 stage (fast turnaround)
RequirementsMust Have
- Fluent Italian & English
- Proven experience as a Document Controller
- Background in:EPC, ORConstruction / infrastructure / client-side projects
- Experience xlwpduy on large-scale projects (€100M+)
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with construction or procurement contractors
- Exposure to quality processes
- Familiarity with EDMS systems (Aconex, SharePoint, etc.)
