Overview
Senior Medical Director provides strategic medical and scientific leadership in Rheumatology, driving engagement with clients and bid processes. You will act as a medical director and SME across the R&D; lifecycle, shaping clinical development plans andCenter of Excellence strategy. You collaborate across the organization to optimize resources and contribute to thought leadership. This role combines senior leadership with hands-on execution in a global, client-facing setting.

Responsabilità
- Work independently of the therapeutic area head
- Lead strategic proposal development with the proposal team
- Participate as leader and SME in client bid defense meetings
- Act as consultant throughout the R&D; lifecycle and clinical trials, or as a standalone solution
- Formulate clinical development plans and execute the group strategy for the Center of Excellence




- Collaborate across the organization to leverage resources
- Encourage involvement in thought leadership activities

Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- At least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting
- CRO background with senior strategic leadership and Rheumatology expertise
- MD with training in Rheumatology and Board Certified – Rheumatology
- Exceptional business knowledge to drive results and provide organizational thought leadership
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (national/international)
