What you'll be doing
As our Accounting Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Consolidation and Financial Reporting, you'll own the day-to-day execution and oversight of all operational accounting activities across our group entities, ensuring financial rigor and balance sheet integrity as we scale.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
- Operational Accounting & Closing Management - Lead the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles under Italian and Luxembourg GAAP, maintaining complete General Ledger and subledger accuracy while overseeing bank reconciliations and Capex accounting.
- Statutory Compliance & Audit Readiness - Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements across entities in Italy and Luxembourg, manage direct/indirect tax compliance workflows (VAT, CIT accruals, withholding taxes) partnering with the group Head of Tax, and act as the main operational interface for external auditors.
- Support to Group Reporting & IAS/IFRS Transition - Partner with Group Reporting to supply reconciled local entity financial data, support the transition toward IAS/IFRS dual-reporting, and implement standardized accounting workflows in collaboration with Finance Transformation.
