s of Operation (DOO), Bills of Materials (BOMs), procurement plans, installation documentation, customer deliverables and technical documentation.Ensure Controls Engineering quality gates, design risk assessments, safety design validation and site-readiness requirements are completed at the appropriate project stages.
Ensure Controls Engineering deliverables and technical information are correctly transferred to customers and are available to support installation, commissioning and customer service training.
Maintain Controls Engineering status reporting, resource plans, schedule updates, financial forecasts and cost control, ensuring risks, changes and project variances are clearly documented and escalated.
Coordinate interfaces between Controls, Mechanical Engineering, Structures and Installation, ensuring technical solutions remain aligned with project requirements and customer milestones.
Conduct on-site safety audits when visiting customer sites and identify any specific installation requirements or corrective actions.




Drive the evolution of Controls Engineering practices through continuous improvement initiatives, technical standardization, process optimisation and the development of scalable, repeatable solutions that improve engineering quality, delivery efficiency and operational excellence.
Act as a senior technical mentor and role model for Controls Engineers and Lead Engineers, shaping the development of future engineering leaders and promoting a culture of technical excellence, accountability, innovation and continuous learning.
What we're looking for:
Educated to degree level (bachelor’s degree or higher) in technical Engineering discipline.
8+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial automation environment, with strong experience leading engineering teams on complex customer projects.
Strong Controls Engineering expertise, with the ability to challenge designs, validate concepts, make sound technical decisions and maintain engineering
